La revista es una nueva concepción en la edición de textos del Siglo XIX-XX y de la figura de Pérez Galdós adaptándolo a los nuevos tiempos y requerimientos de los lectores. Pretende por medio de una gran diversidad de artículos difundir el carácter cultural y universal pero cercano de la obra del autor canario mediante el contraste de textos académicos o de corte universitario con los de opinión, cultura o periodísticos. Al mismo tiempo, se incluyen noticias, efemérides, nuevas publicaciones, y traducciones e interpretaciones a otras lenguas de los textos del escritor con lo que se pretende aumentar el ámbito de lectores con los estudiantes que paulatinamente se acercan al estudio del español.
The magazine is a new conception in the edition of texts of the 19th- 20th century an the figure of Pérez Galdós, adapting it to the new times and requirements of the readers. It aims, through a wide variety of articles, to expose and promulgate the cultural and universal, yet familiar, character of the works of the Canary Island author, through the contrasting of academic or university professional´s texts with opinion, culture and journalistic texts. It also includes news items, announcements, new publications and translations of th writer´s works into other languages, as a way to increase the range of readers to include students who are gradually beginning to learn Spanish.
